Accomplished Pianist
It’s been said by many athletes that they perform
their best when playing or competing with someone better than themselves. As
pianists, we often find the same to be true – performing with superior players
seems to “step our game up a notch”. This same concept applies to the quality of
the piano you play; your “doubles partner” in the musical match.
All of us have
experienced the frustration of not performing at our best due to
problems with the piano or it's quality. Tuning instability, action problems, poor tone, and
improper design or manufacturing are all obstacles that can keep a good pianist
from becoming a great pianist. Conversely, a quality piano built for superior
performance, longevity, and long-term value will enhance an accomplished
player’s technique and musical expression by providing an accurate, responsive
touch as well as a broad palette of tonal dynamics and nuances. This can only be
accomplished through a manufacturer’s outstanding experience, design,
engineering, quality of materials, and craftsmanship.
When you play a fine piano, you’ll know how good you
really are, or how good you can become.
