I entered the piano industry and have been working as a piano technician at England Piano since 1989.  My training has been a combination of schooling, service seminars, manufacturer certified programs, attending Piano Technician Guild (PTG) national conventions as well as a wealth of on the job training. I am factory trained and factory certified for Yamaha Pianos, Yamaha Disklavier Pianos, Yamaha Clavinova Pianos, QRS Pianomation Player Systems, and PianoDisc Player Systems. I am also factory trained and certified to install QRS Pianomation and PianoDisc player systems. I have extensive experience in tuning and regulation.  I am also qualified and have years of experience in piano finish repair.  I enjoy my role as a piano technician because I enjoy working with my hands and the satisfaction of serving the customer well.

I came here from Fort Smith, Arkansas in 1988 where I owned a piano company for fifteen years. I started learning piano in college and have done nothing else since 1973. I've tuned for many large concerts and several movies, one of which, was an academy award winner. I have extensive experience in piano tuning, piano regulation, piano voicing and other technical repairs. The piano business is wonderful and I wouldn't trade jobs with anyone (hardly). I have been on the  England Piano technical team since 1992.
