England Piano Reviews

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience purchasing a piano from England Piano. Carder was a great salesman, he showed us his inventory and then left us alone so that my wife could test play all of the pianos. They had the best selection of pianos of all the stores that we went to in the Atlanta area. We ended up purchasing a used Yamaha piano that was in like new condition. Also, they delivered our piano very promptly in a few days and the delivery staff was very courteous and professional as well. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good used or new piano in the Atlanta metro area.

I wanted to share my experience shopping at England Piano so others are aware -- I see a ton of great reviews here so consider taking this with a grain of salt as perhaps our visit was atypical.
My wife and I are not super knowledgeable about pianos but had wanted a baby grand for a long time. We were finally financially in a place to start searching and began with England Piano. I will also say that i am fairly frugal and can drive a hard bargain at times (i'll own this completely).
When we started looking at and testing pianos at the store Mr. England was very nice, patient, and clearly an expert. However, when we got to talking about price things changed completely. His demeanor changed and he became very abrupt, not interested in talking, and all but escorted us out of the store.
During the transaction he made the statement "i'm feeling a lack of trust here, and that makes me uncomfortable". He seemed not to realize the fact that trust must be earned and i'm not one to immediately trust a seller of expensive goods on a first interaction. My wife and i both left the store confused and unsure as to what we'd done wrong. A few days later we went to another store and found a great piano at a great price.
It may be that negotiating price on used pianos is in poor taste or perhaps i went about it the wrong way but if you are a frugal buyer who wants to be sure you got the best deal on the piano you chose then i would recommend looking elsewhere.

We embarked on our first ever acoustic piano purchase for our 13 year old son and after some research online, decided to visited England Piano. From the very beginning Carder guided us through all the variations, details, options, and even taught us piano history, and the history of the England Piano company.
Carder and the founder David, were very patient, and welcomed us on every visit prior to purchase, while my son worked out which piano to buy.
They allowed my son to test any piano he wished to try out and helped us make the best possible decision.
Fantastic experience, great piano, and happy son, thank you England Piano.
