New Kawai CA501 Digital Piano
This new Kawai CA501 Digital Piano model retains its predecessor’s highly-regarded Grand Feel Compact wooden-key keyboard action while incorporating the new SK-EX Competition Grand piano sound, reproduced using Harmonic Imaging XL sound technology. This latest recreation of the flagship Shigeru Kawai piano uses all new sample data, recorded explicitly from the player’s perspective. Complementing this stunning new piano sound, the CA501 features a premium audio amplification system designed to deliver a smoother, more precise sound through speakers and headphones. Newly added diffuser panels mounted to the top-facing speakers help to expand tonal projection in all directions.
In addition to Bluetooth MIDI, the CA501 now includes Bluetooth Audio connectivity, allowing audio from smart devices to be played wirelessly through the instrument’s speakers. Both Bluetooth components adopt the latest v5 standard, providing ultra-low latency, improved reliability, and superior sound quality when paired with the latest devices. The updated CA501 also features redesigned control panels with a more intuitive button layout to complement the existing large OLED display.
Finally, the CA501’s attractive cabinet has also received design refinements, with improved pedal positioning and music score support pins, which can be raised to securely hold the pages of thicker notated scores.
