Like New Estonia 168 Grand Piano
The Estonia Piano Company began in the late 1800’s as a hand-made piano of renowned quality. The company was under the communist control after WWII. With Estonian independence in 1991, the employees purchased the factory and rights from the government. Currently the Estonia piano has international acclaim as one of the finest made and best value in grand pianos from Europe.
The material selection are remarkable, especially considering its price point. Among many features, the list includes sand-cast iron plates, incredibly thick rims and made of laminated birch, European Solid Spruce Soundboards, hand-wound German bass strings, Premium Full German Renner Actions with Renner’s highest quality hammers: Renner Blue, and pinblocks made of red beech.
The recipe of this piano makes for an open, yet full sound. The touch is responsive and accurate. The attention to detail in manufacturing is precise as any high-quality hand built piano. This piano had been well maintained. It is at its most potential and could appear as if it were new.
