Baldwin made some of the greatest American pianos of all time when this piano was produced. They were the #1 piano maker in America at that time and this was their top of the line grand piano. This particular piano has been completely restored with refinished soundboard, regilding the cast plate, new pin block, new hammers, new strings, new dampers as well as completely refinished.
Baldwin was known for having a powerful bass much larger than the size of the piano. The Baldwin Professional Series Grands were the chief direct competitor to Steinway and Sons.
